SoleavsFieldRoutes

Your office runs FieldRoutes. Solea runs your office.

FieldRoutes gives your team solid tools for scheduling, routing and billing, and your team does the work inside them. Solea does that work itself: it answers the phone, builds the routes on real drive time and follows up on unpaid invoices, all in one system.

Able Pest Management, Oahu. August 2025 on FieldRoutes against August 2026, its first full month on Solea: 1,340 appointments against 1,343.

The fair version

Both keep the records. Solea also does the work.

FieldRoutes is a capable system of record, and plenty of well-run pest control companies use it. The difference is what happens once the data is in: who answers the 9 PM call, who builds tomorrow’s routes, and who follows up on the invoice nobody paid.

What FieldRoutes does well

  • Intelligent routing and a drag-and-drop dynamic scheduler, built for pest and lawn routes
  • Payment processing with autopay
  • A mobile app for signing contracts, taking payments and starting service in the field
  • Pest compliance forms such as WDO and NPMA-33, dashboards, and an API
  • The backing of ServiceTitan, its parent company

From fieldroutes.com, September 2026.

Where Solea is different

  • An AI voice agent answers every call, day and night, and books into the live schedule
  • Auto-Scheduling builds routes overnight on real drive time and each customer’s preferences
  • Overdue reminders go out by email and text with a payment link, on their own
  • Any report answers a question in plain English, from live data
  • One team builds all of it, so there’s nothing to connect or keep in sync

Why teams switch

What FieldRoutes offices ask us for.

Four things that come up again and again when FieldRoutes users talk to us, and what each one looks like on Solea.

Routes built on the road, not the map.

What we hear
“It’s kind of just a map with little dots where your customers are, and then you circle and assign it to a tech.”
Pest control operator who evaluated FieldRoutes

With SoleaAuto-Scheduling places every due and unassigned job overnight, weighing real drive time, arrival windows, skills, regions and each customer’s preferred days and technician. At booking, every open slot shows the drive time it adds. Change a shift and the routes it touches recalculate.

“Our production numbers have gone up, and our travel time has come down.”
John BaraquioOwner, Able Pest Management

One system, not five vendors.

What we hear
“Instead of having to integrate AI with multiple CRMs, you have to integrate A, B, C and D to get everything that you want.”
John Baraquio, Able Pest Management, on running Able before Solea

With SoleaCalls, the schedule, the field app, billing and collections share one customer record, built by one team. The AI voice agent books straight into the live schedule. Overdue reminders go out with a payment link, and customers pay by card or ACH. Nothing needs syncing, because it’s all the same system.

“Solea has definitely cut costs, increased productivity, and decreased the time that we’ve been spending on certain tasks.”

Reports that look ahead.

What we hear
“With FieldRoutes we can’t go in and say I want to see a month ahead. I want to be able to pull production for a year.”
Pest control operator on FieldRoutes

With SoleaThe production forecast shows booked value, planned hours and visits per technician for any stretch ahead, by day, week or month. Ask AI answers questions about the report on your screen, from live data, and shows its sources. Pin the numbers you check to a board, compare any period with last year, and open the jobs behind any total.

“We are having numbers that are generated by the system to validate our KPIs, as opposed to spending hours as managers trying to draw information out.”

What you need, built in weeks.

What we hear
“Where the larger companies couldn’t make adjustments for what we needed in three years, they’ve been making adjustments in days and weeks.”
Bernie Holst, Horizon Pest Control, on switching from FieldRoutes

With SoleaSolea builds everything in house and ships to every customer almost every week: 12 releases between mid-July and late September. When Horizon needed device barcoding before it could switch, Solea built it. Requests go into a shared channel with the people who build the product, and they come on site.

Everything you use today

Everything your team uses in FieldRoutes, in one place.

Barcode device scanning

Scan each station, confirm it’s the right device, log activity and bait use, and flag damaged or inaccessible ones.

Zones and floor plans

Zones from building to room, drawn floor plans and devices placed on the plan, one sheet per floor.

Required inspections

A visit can’t be closed until the device inspections its service requires are done.

WDO and state forms

Your state’s PDF form mapped to Solea fields, with the diagram and signatures collected on the appointment.

Chemical and EPA tracking

Product library with EPA numbers, a registry check on entry, mix math, and usage reports by state.

Pest trend reports

Activity by zone, device type and target pest across visits, printable for the logbook.

Multi-location

Branch service areas, phone numbers and letterhead, territory rules, and every report filtered by branch.

Capacity and fumigation days

Daily limits per crew or technician, enforced at booking, so high-volume days never get overbooked.

Field app, iOS and Android

The day’s route, products, photos, signatures and payment at the door. The schedule and device inspections keep working with no signal.

Switching from FieldRoutes

Off FieldRoutes in three days, not a year.

Moving the data is the quick part. The rest of the runway goes to your stored cards and your people, and it runs on your schedule. This is how it went for Able.

“The last couple times I did a switch over CRMs, it took between 6 months to a year. In 3 days, Solea said, ‘We’re done.’”
John BaraquioOwner, Able Pest Management · switched from FieldRoutes
  1. Days 1 to 3Your data, straight from FieldRoutes

Solea connects to your FieldRoutes account through its API. Customers, properties, subscriptions, contracts and service history come across and are checked against your live FieldRoutes data. Nobody exports a spreadsheet.

  2. Until go-liveFieldRoutes keeps running

Your office keeps working in FieldRoutes. Solea re-syncs in the background so nothing goes stale, and a final sync runs the morning you go live.

  3. About 30 daysCards move without a billing gap

Stored cards move from your processor to Stripe, on the old processor’s timeline. You keep charging customers as usual, and go-live is set so every card is in place on day one.

  4. Before launchTraining by role, on your own data

Office staff, schedulers, sales and billing each train in a test account holding your real customers. Then both teams check the imported data together and make the go or no-go call.

  5. Go-liveThe next 30 days of routes, in one run

The day before Able launched, Solea built its routes for the next 30 days: nearly 1,000 appointments across 174 technician shifts.

“Sure enough, in 3 days they said, ‘We’re done.’ That was something I’ve never experienced before.”John Baraquio

FAQ

Questions FieldRoutes teams ask us.

Also compare: Solea vs PestPac

Yes. Scheduling and dispatch, routing, customer records, the field app, billing and collections, recurring plans, inspections and compliance, chemical tracking and reporting all run in Solea. After go-live you don’t keep FieldRoutes running alongside it.

Auto-Scheduling runs every night and places due and unassigned work inside your rules: real drive time, arrival windows, skills, regions, and each customer’s preferred days and technician. At booking, every open slot shows the drive time it adds. At Able Pest Management, drive time per stop fell 29% in the first full month off FieldRoutes, on the same number of appointments.

For Able, customers, properties, subscriptions, contracts and service history came across through FieldRoutes’ API in three days, checked against the live account. Open balances, device lists, zones and chemical application history come over too, and you approve them before go-live.

No. You keep working in FieldRoutes until go-live. Solea re-syncs in the background and runs a final sync the morning you switch, so nobody has to freeze bookings or re-type a customer.

They move from your current processor to Stripe. The old processor has to send them, which takes about 30 days, and you keep charging customers as usual in the meantime. Go-live is set around that transfer.

No. Able Pest Management runs its scheduling, routing and collections on Solea and doesn’t use the voice agent. You can add it whenever the office is ready.

Neither company publishes a rate card, so ask both for a quote on the same scope: technicians, migration, payment processing, and whatever you pay other vendors for today, such as call answering or collections. Solea covers those in the same system.

If you run other trades on ServiceTitan and want one vendor across all of them, staying in that family can make sense. And if your office has the people it needs and your routes and reports already work, a switch may not be worth the disruption this season. Solea fits best when the office is the bottleneck: the phones, the routing and the follow-up on money.
